Dances=Drama.

Its definitely been one of those days where you get all ready for the day, looking somewhat better looking than usual, thinking that everything will go perfectly. Well, i guess that I forgot that it doesn't really come about that way. I hate to admit that I am a sucker for love- if that's what it is still called. Today started out decent, powertraining in the morning, and the rest of the day ahead of me was filled of easy classes. Everything started going down hill during lunch-- I had asked this super cute, tongan, wrestler from my school, to our schools Valentines dance. I met this boy at a wrestling tournament and started talking me into asking the boy to the dance, as we talked forever-it seemed like. However this boy that was talking me into asking the wrestler, is the same boy that I have had a little, secret crush on ever since he moved here from Boston, MA. last year. To me it came across that he wanted us to be in the same dance group as him, but then today he wouldn't even talk to me! When I went to ask, everyone in the group acted as if I was super annoying!? I barely said a sentence.. The funny this is that it turns out that the Boston boy has a girlfriend, and totally led me on. Ha. At first I was really annoyed and mad that I actually fell for his words, and actually cried on the whole drive home. But I did ask the tongan and he said yes! So, now im in the kids group whether he likes it or not. I can just say that It definitely going to be an interesting dance. Im excited to see what goes down. :)

How Blessed I Am

So living in a really religious town, and everyone knows or is related to everyone type deal... I thought that it was so annoying. My high school seems like it is so political for sports- you don't make the team because your last name isn't such and such, or your not on good terms with the coaches. But, yesterday   my teachers 12 year old son passed away of suicide. It was very tragic for everyone, kids his age aren't suppose to die like that! Its been a really rough week for everyone who knew him and his family. My teacher was a softball coach, and is a football coach for our school. His son, loved the football team, and so we're trying to raise money for our school to be able to get a new turf field :) It was his dream to play on a turf field and wanted it so bad. In honor of him, a lot of kids from our school and other schools wore green- his favorite color. Its amazing! There is so much love where we live, its so overwhelming! I literally started choking up on Facebook last night from all the sweet and touching posts about him.
So I've been thinking that- I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. From watching the news and how bad some people have it. I truly have it good over here, I live in such an awesome community! I'm so grateful for where I live.

The Almost End of The School Year!

Its been an awesome junior year, I've had really great classes and teachers that I don't really regret taking. I went to my very first and last dance. (ha) I hate dances. It was the Valentines Dance, and the most awkward date ever. My date already had a girlfriend, and she was in the group too. The weird thing about it was that she said I should ask him... I was basically forced against my own will. :( sucked.
This summer I will be playing softball for my last year! I'm so sad, but excited to move on in my life with college plans and senior year. I think the only thing I'm excited about for this coming year is getting my pictures taken and my first trimester classes. Oh and powder puff! I don't know why, but I just am!
This High school softball season has went by super fast. But we started in October with after-school workouts and weight-lifting. Our record really stinks, but we are much better than what it shows! Districts are this Saturday @ Bonneville. They beat us in the season, but I think we will give them a good game. :) I'm really nervous/ excited.
I'll post later on how we do this weekend.

"I will make weak things become strong unto them"

Today at church we talked about sacrifice, and what we would define sacrifice in our own words. To me; its willing to give up something, having a broken heart and a contrite heart (faith). If the Lord asks you to do something you will have faith in him to do it.
"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness, I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; and have faith in me then I will make weak things become strong unto them." (Ether 12:27)
My teacher was talking about how her sister had to bury her 9 year old daughter that was born with a disability that eventually took her life. It really made me think. We don't know what that Lord's plan is for us but, he said, it wouldn't be easy, but that it would be worth it.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Getting back into the groove of things...

Well, this week was the first of school. I would say that I loved it, but then I'd be lying.  My day starts at 6am. and gets done about 9pm. boring.
Its weird to think that i'm getting "older". Just the other day, a lady that used to be in our ward said I could pass as a college student! I was so excited and proud! But she was like "No!, I remember when you were a young and tiny!"
-I guess that could be a reason to not be excited.
Anyways, school is school and then there are the cute boys. (they're the reason why I go to school basically.)
my seminary teacher is super funny, she has a dry sense of humor that is hilarious!
Tonight, we had our first football game! we lost! wooh! I thought we might have a chance, but after the other team scored like 2 touchdowns in 5 minutes... I was like "ahh, forget about it!"
Im super stoked to play softball this season because I know that we will kick trash and rock everyones world! :D -thats how confident.
but then again, I shouldn't say much because that could all change. But I think we will do good.
Its almost midnight and i'm still awake. I should probably go to bed. So,
Goodnight!

Suprises sometimes STINK!

Okay, so this morning at 5am I woke up and found that Charlotte was not in bed. Not 5 minutes later she walks in and tells me mom and her both had been throwing up. All I could think of was, "oh no, please, please! don't get sick!" Then eventually, I get sick at school and the whole day was a nightmare. But, I lived through the whole day. In first hour English, I about passed out. My heart was about to burst out of my chest and I was having heat flashes... OH the joy of the first day of school~
All in all I was happy to be back, then again I wish it was Summer or Potato Harvest...
Trey ended up getting sick also, (no way!) we later found out that he had thrown up on the bus. Then he came home and has been sick all day. It's a very disappointing day.
But on the bright side of the vomit and stink! I have good classes and there are some pretty cute kids. :) I'm excited for this Trimester.
